The Story

For Bay Alarm, I was brought in to modernize the company’s digital foundation and improve both accessibility and search performance. I began by completely recoding and restructuring the site’s HTML/CSS to meet WCAG accessibility standards and strengthen SEO. This work involved cleaning legacy markup, improving semantic structure, optimizing heading hierarchies, and ensuring the site was fully navigable for assistive technologies. The result was a faster, more compliant, and more discoverable website that better reflected the professionalism of a major security provider.

A key part of the project involved integrating the company’s legacy web forms into their new HubSpot CRM. I mapped existing form logic, rebuilt submission flows, and connected everything to HubSpot’s lead‑tracking and automation tools. This upgrade gave Bay Alarm a unified view of customer inquiries and dramatically improved their ability to respond quickly, track conversions, and measure marketing performance — all without disrupting the existing user experience.

To round out the engagement, I conducted a full usability audit and implemented improved navigation patterns across the site. This included reorganizing menu structures, clarifying pathways to key services, and reducing friction in high‑value user journeys. These changes made the site easier to use for both residential and commercial customers, strengthening Bay Alarm’s digital presence and supporting their broader sales and service goals.
