About

E. James Ford has been working on the web, in one form or another, since 1997. His first job involved building early websites for international tourist offices in the Caribbean and Africa. Since that time he has developed websites and online strategies for many companies in the non-profit, higher education, creative arts, and fashion/nightlife industries. For nearly a decade, he served as the Director of Web Communications for New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. He was a founding member of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts-service organization where he helped build online tools for fundraising and marketing for emerging artists. As someone who came up during the startup culture of the late-90′s, he considers himself a “jack of all trades” when it comes to the web. He has served as a project manager, communications strategist, team-leader, programmer, information architect, multimedia producer, graphic designer, lead developer, and html/css monkey. He currently lives in Brooklyn with his dog Freya.
